With 12 schools and institutes, 16,780 total students, and 8,600+ acres, Duke University boasts a campus experience worthy of its position as one of the top ten American universities. Delegates will get the opportunity to utilize the same resources as Duke students, including 10 libraries, visits to our numerous engineering labs, and the exploration of our two distinct campuses—the gothic West Campus and the Georgian East Campus.
Consistently ranked one of the best college dining programs, Duke Dining gives students access to over 45 dining locations that includes 36 on-campus restaurants, off-campus restaurants, and food trucks. Delegates will be able to visit our many coffee shops alongside West Union (or WU) to try diverse and sustainable cuisine types—from southern food to sushi to build-your-own pasta and rice bowls. Stop by the Panera Bread on the bottom floor or support the local eateries on the first floor. There's something for everyone's palate!
Fun for Everyone.
Besides the iconic Duke Chapel—which boasts a 210-foot tower and open processions—delegates can tour some of the best collegiate attractions. Visit the Duke Lemur Center—home to the world's largest colony of endangered primates—or the 55-ace Sarah P. Duke Gardens. Visit the home to our world-famous basketball team that is Cameron Indoor Stadium or observe brilliant works at the Nasher Museum of Art. All attractions can be reached on foot or by a public-access bus. All attractions are welcome to all.
